Il 30 giugno 2014, Jessie J ha twittato che stava per rivelare il suo nuovo singolo il giorno dopo dove collaborava con altre due artiste. Il 1º luglio ha annunciato il singolo chiamato "Bang Bang", e che collaborava con Nicki Minaj e Ariana Grande. La data ufficiale di rilascio è stata rivelata il 29 luglio 2014. In un comunicato stampa, è stato rivelato che "Bang Bang" sarebbe stato il primo singolo del nuovo album di Jessie J e che sarebbe stato incluso anche nell'album di Ariana. Tuttavia, su iTunes è possibile acquistarlo solo dall'album My Everything se l'intero album viene acquistato.
