Il 30 aprile 2016, due frammenti di 15 secondi del pre-coro e del coro erano trapelati su Twitter ed Instagram, seguiti da Ariana che ha pubblicato il primo verso della canzone su Snapchat. I fan hanno notato che Into You era l'unica traccia non pubblicata di Dangerous Woman alla quale era mostrata la durata su iTunes, il che suggerisce che sarebbe stato pubblicato come successivo singolo o singolo promozionale.

Grande e Benjamin hanno una luna di miele nel motel "Honeymoon Inn" ad Arizona. Al tramonto, loro attraversano le strade di Arizona con una moto e poi fanno l'amore nella loro camera.
