Ariana ha rivelato questo brano per la prima volta il 5 novembre 2016 tramite una foto su Instagram.[2]
La traccia è stata anche rivelata in una scena del video musicale del singolo "No Tears Left To Cry" insieme a quella che sembra essere l'intera tracklist dell'album Sweetener.[3]
Il 17 luglio 2018, l'elenco dei brani dell'album "Sweetener" è stato rivelato sul suo account Instagram confermando che questa canzone è stata inserita come sesto brano dell'album.[4] Il 21 luglio 2018, un paparazzo ha fatto trapelare un'anteprima di Ariana che ascolta la canzone nella sua auto, se si ascolta attentamente si può sentire la parola "Sweetener", più tardi quel giorno Ariana ha confermato l'anteprima.[5][6]
