Grande celebrated her birthday on June 25, 2018 in New York at the Mandarin Oriental. She had a party with family and friends, and they all documented the many cakes and cupcakes present, all decorated with old photos of Grande. Grande posted many videos of the party the next day via her Instagram story. Prior to the party, Grande and Davidson were spotted in New York City.
On June 27, 2018 Grande's friends organized a surprise karaoke party in New York. Grande and Davidson covered the famous Evanescence song "Bring Me Back To Life" and Beyoncé's "Love On Top".
