"Be My Baby" is the seventh track from Ariana Grande's sophomore album, My Everything. It features Norwegian DJ, Cashmere Cat. It was released through Republic Records on August 25, 2014.

Background

Cashmere Cat first teased the song at a DJ Set on July 26, 2014, which was filmed and uploaded to YouTube, by a fan. Grande retweeted a link to the video on her Twitter profile.[2] She then retweeted a second snippet on August 4.[3][4]

On August 20, four songs from My Everything such as "Be My Baby" were released courtesy of MTV along with other songs ("Why Try", "Love Me Harder", and "Just A Little Bit Of Your Heart").[5][6]

Live performances

Grande performed the song on the Honda Stage in 2014. The song was performed during Grande's The Honeymoon Tour in 2015. On August 25, 2018, Grande performed an acapella version during The Sweetener Sessions in Los Angeles.
