Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter (born September 4, 1981) is an American singer, actress, songwriter, record producer, director, model, dancer, fashion designer, and businesswoman. She is the most awarded artist alive and one of the best-selling music artists of all time. Ariana Grande is a fan and has also credited Beyoncé and Destiny's Child as one of her major influences.

- Ariana's song "Baby I" was initially written for and offered to Beyoncé, but she rejected it which led to Ariana releasing the song instead.
- A scrapped Beyoncé demo titled "Wake Up" from her eponymous fifth studio album, Beyoncé, was sold to Grande and retitled "R.E.M." and became a popular song from Grande's fourth studio album, Sweetener.[1]
- Grande and Beyoncé first met in person in February 2015, at Grande's then-boyfriend Big Sean's album promotion, held at the SKY Studio in L.A.
- In 2015 Beyoncé was seen dancing to Grande performing The Way at Michael Jordan’s event in NYC.
- During Grande's 2019 Coachella performance, an unidentified assailant in the crowd threw a lemon at Grande.
