Robert John Gaudio, also known as Bob Gaudio, is an American singer, songwriter and record producer. He was in the famous 1960s band The Four Seasons.

Gaudio is known for writing "An Angel Cried" by The Four Seasons alongside Frank Grande's best friend, Charles Calello, in 1964.

In 2017, Ariana was very close to finishing her fourth studio album Sweetener, when she remembered "An Angel Cried", but was unaware that her grandpa's best friend wrote it. At first, she wanted to sample the song, so she recorded an acapella version, but her friend and producer Max Martin told her that the acapella bit was perfect as an opening for the album, becoming Raindrops (An Angel Cried).
