"Dance To This" is the fourth single from Australian singer and songwriter Troye Sivan's sophomore album, Bloom. The song also features Ariana Grande. It was released on June 13, 2018, through EMI Australia.
Background[]
Sivan confirmed the song in an interview on BBC Radio 1 on February 26, 2018[1] and then he tweeted: "Yes!!! The rumours are trumours!! @arianagrande is my pop queen and i can’t wait for you guys to hear our song".[2] Sivan said they [him and Grande] were hanging out when he decided to play her a demo of the track: "I said, 'would you ever sing on this song?' And she just did it."
On June 10, 2018, Sivan tweeted that the song would be released on June 13, and he also uploaded the cover of the song.[3] On June 13, 2018, the song was first premiered on Apple Music/Beats 1 and released on Spotify.
On April 21, 2023, the full session leaked alongside three demos. The demos have a slightly different instrumental and different vocals from Grande.
