The Rift Tour was a three-day virtual concert held by the video game Fortnite through August 6 to August 8, 2021.[1] A virtual version of Ariana Grande was the headliner of the event in celebration of her arrival in the Icon Series in the fame. There is also an exclusive Ariana Grande Fortnite skin that was released alongside numerous accessories and in-game items.

In July 2021, Fortnite confirmed it was hosting a three-day virtual musical experience named the Rift Tour, starring a "record-breaking superstar" (referring to Ariana Grande).[2]
After months of speculations and leaks, Ariana Grande was revealed to be the performer of the event, on August 1, 2021, with her opening performance on August 6, 2021.[3][4] On the same day, a sneak peek of the concert was uploaded on YouTube, and also showed the first look at two variants of Grande's skin.[4]
