Background[]
The song was recorded some time in October 2021, for John Legend's 2022 R&B album “Legend”, but it didn't make the cut for some unknown reasons.
In an interview with NME on October 7, 2021, producer and writer, Nile Rodgers, said "just finished doing a song with Ariana Grande and John Legend. I’m working like crazy every day!"[1]
The first snippet was leaked on October 13, 2022. It was being sold by a leaker who had watermarked the snippet, but the watermark was later removed. Another snippet then leaked on January 22, 2023, the snippet was recorded from a Discord voice call.
The final version leaked on February 15, 2023.
