The iHeartRadio Music Awards is an annual award show hosted by the online radio service iHeartRadio. The inaugural ceremony was held in 2014, and the second in 2015. Ariana Grande has been nominated for numerous awards and has performed once.
2014[]
The first annual show was held on May 1, 2014, in the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. At this show, Ariana Grande was nominated for 3 awards and one for iHeartRadio Young Influencer Award. She also performed a mashup of her two Top 10 hits (at the time), "The Way" and "Problem". She began with The Way in a simple black mini-dress and white knee-high gogo boots, and a LED display featuring Ariana's first name in yellow was in the background. After finishing the first chorus, the background switched to a black-and-white retro display while Ariana pulled off her dress to reveal a shorter black sequence dress, in which she performed Problem. For this, Iggy Azalea's vocals were in the background track instead of live.
