Kimberly Krysuik known mononymously as Kaydence is an American songwriter. She was one of Ariana Grande's best friends but they grew apart in 2020.

Relationship with Ariana/Controversy and Falling Out[]

Kaydence met Ariana when she was making a few beats in a studio. Ariana loved the beats and wanted them and thus they had become friends. Kaydence and Ariana also started working with each other on her 4th album, Sweetener.[1] Kaydence was one of the ringkeepers for the 7 rings that Ariana had bought for her friends.

However, following the drop of Grande's 5th album, Thank U, Next, Kaydence claimed that she didn't recieve credit for all of her other contributions. Kaydence claimed that she had contributed to "NASA", "Make Up", and "Thank U, Next" but was uncredited. This lead Kaydence to release a statement saying, "Unfortunately, this has been a sour experience for me because some people don’t know how to fact check and be fair with song credits, Still thankful I got to be part, and hope you guys enjoy."[2]

After Kaydence said this, many of the writers of the album shaded her such as Victoria Monét when she tweeted, "Damn should we credit Toulouse and Myron too @TAYLAPARX? They were also in the room".[3] After the full blowout happened, Grande and Kaydence's friendship ended.
