"Knew Better Part Two" is the extended and reprised version of Knew Better that was posted by Ariana Grande on her SoundCloud account.

Background

On July 31, 2016, Ariana confirmed that she wanted to extend "Knew Better" and Tommy Brown was working on it. In August 2016, Ariana confirmed that she would be extending Knew Better to be performed on her Dangerous Woman Tour.

On September 15, 2016, Grande posted the track on her SoundCloud account with a custom cover in black and white, a recurring theme used on Ariana's first three albums.^[1]^[2]^[3]

Trivia

Billboard labeled this song as a "three steps away to be a diss track" for Big Sean with the help of then-boyfriend, Mac Miller.
Instead of the beat used in the original version, Ariana used the beat in this version on the Dangerous Woman Tour.
