Kristin Dawn Chenoweth (born July 24, 1968) is an American singer and actress. She originated the role of Glinda Upland in the musical Wicked.

She and Ariana Grande both starred in Hairspray Live! in 2016, and Grande is featured on the song "You Don't Own Me" from Chenoweth's sixth studio album, For The Girls.

Relationship with Ariana

• Grande first met Chenoweth when she was a child and went to see Wicked on Broadway.
• Grande revealed in the Thank U, Next interview on the Zach Sang Show that on the same occasion, Chenoweth gifted the glittery shampoo that she "never wanted to run out."
• Grande also, in the same interview, jokingly stated that being friends with Kristin was the "coolest thing" she has ever accomplished, even after just having two #1 singles, "Thank U, Next" and "7 Rings."
