Nathan Sykes September 2013 - January 2014 Ariana saw Nathan Sykes on the red carpet and it was instant love. On the set of the "Almost Is Never Enough" music video they first interacted. After months of speculation, both stars went on Twitter to confirm their relationship. On January 2014, Grande confirmed on the radio that she and Sykes decided to split because of long-term distance, but remained friends.

Ricky Alvarez April 2015 - July 2016 Alvarez became a backup dancer for Grande in April 2014. In February 2015, he went on The Honeymoon Tour along with the rest of the crew, and fans began suspecting that he and Grande were dating. They kissed onstage during Grande's performance at the 2015 New York LGBT Pride festival in June, although some people thought the kiss was just part of the choreography. Their relationship was officially confirmed when Grande and Alvarez were seen kissing in a donut store in Los Angeles on July 4, 2015. On July 24, 2016, Grande tweeted "life is wild and change is fucking fantastic", which made fans suspect their relationship came to an end. She then confirmed it by liking tweets that said: "forever boy cancelled". Grande and Miller were seen walking out of a tattoo parlor together on August 26. Miller offered to cancel the rest of his tour so that he could spend time with Grande after the Manchester attack, and performed at her benefit concert One Love Manchester. On May 10, 2018, Grande confirmed that she and Miller had broken up, although they remained best friends. Pete Davidson May 2018 - October 2018 After Grande's break-up with Mac Miller, confirmed on May 10, 2018, Grande and Davidson were seen sitting together at an SNL after party on May 13, 2018. A source told People "After Ariana's performance [at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards], they were backstage and he had his arm around her." Grande and Davidson also commented on each other's Instagram posts.

He got four tattoos dedicated to Grande; a cloud, which is a matching tattoo with Grande, her Dangerous Woman bunny ears (which was later covered up by a black heart), Grande's initials "AG", and "H2GKMO", which is a matching tattoo with Grande and her friends. He got the first in May and the other three in June. Additionally Pete got a "Mille Tendresse" tattoo on the back of his neck to match Grande's, matching "reborn" tattoos, "Grande" on his ribcage, and a tattoo of Piggy Smallz. A song dedicated to him titled "Pete Davidson" is featured on Grande's fourth album, Sweetener.

On June 11, 2018, multiple news outlets reported that Davidson and Grande were engaged, which Grande later confirmed. The ring Davidson gave Grande cost $93,000, made by jeweler Greg Yuna. He bought the ring in May, which would have been only a few weeks after the two started dating. Davidson and Grande went to Disneyland to celebrate. The two moved into an apartment together in Manhattan, New York, in mid June.

Davidson officially confirmed the engagement with Grande on June 20, 2018, during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. On October 14, 2018, it was reported that Grande and Davidson had called off their engagement and ended their relationship.

Dalton Gomez June 2019 - July 2023 For her 27th birthday in 2020 Grande posted a photo of herself and Gomez at her birthday party the year prior, 26th June 2019, onto her instgram story, where she intentionally covered the date. The two were seen very close, with Grande on Gomez's lap, suggesting the couple were already dating at the time.

In July 2019, Grande was looking for a home in Montecito, California, to which Gomez, already known for working with clients such as Miley Cyrus and Grande's former manager, Scooter Brown, advised her on the purchase of a home. They fell in love instantly, since within a few months they were already living together. On May 15, 2021 they decide to have a private wedding ceremony.

In July 2023, the news came out that they had broken up, and it wasn’t until October 2023 that the divorce settlement came into force, where it is declared that on March 19 they will become single.
