The Manchester Pride Festival is an annual event held on the August bank holiday weekend. It takes place in the Canal Street area, the city's gay village, and fringe locations around the city, while the parade occurs through Manchester city centre. Grande headlined the festival in 2019.

Grande performed at the festival on August 25, 2019 as part of the Sweetener World Tour. For the purpose of the festival, she did a shortened rendition of the traditional setlist of the tour. Her performance was 40 minutes long.

  • Grande did not do any outfit change during the show, she wore a custom Versace outfit especially made for the event.
  • Grande expressed her love for the LGBTQIA+ community and the love she has for the city of Manchester.
  • She decided to perform at the festival because she wasn't mentally ready to perform back at the venue where the 2017 attack happened.
