Mod by Ariana Grande is Ariana Grande's eleventh and twelfth fragrance, which was first teased in September 2022 and released on December, 1, 2022. This perfume is linked to the Positions Era and it is a duo fragrance called "Mod Blush" and "Mod Vanilla".
The fragrances are inspired by the 60s expression "Mod", an aesthetic channelled throughout Grande's sixth studio album.
Background[]
The duo of fragrances was first introduced by Grande via Instagram story, with a photoshoot picture and the test bottles. On November 14, 2022, the Deutsch fragrance shop Douglas listed both perfumes on their website and a picture of the perfume bottles.
On November 15, 2022, Ulta Beauty launched The Fragrance Vault, a fragrance boxset containing every perfume by Grande in miniature size, including the new Mod fragrance duo. All the perfumes are packaged in glass but do not include a spray head. The box set's packaging is very similar to the designs seen in the Positions album visuals.
On November 20, 2022, Grande revealed the release date of the fragrances via an ad for Ulta Beauty.
