"Over and Over Again" is a song by English singer Nathan Sykes featuring Ariana Grande.
Background
In August 2013, Ariana released a duet with Nathan called "Almost Is Never Enough" for the soundtrack of the City of Bones. Dating rumors between the two started to begin shortly after and the two confirmed these the following months. Nathan and Ariana dated for a few months before breaking up in December.
Through 2014 and 2015, Nathan did several interviews in which he confirmed they were still friends and continued to talk. This friendship did not extend too far as the pair were never seen in public together as well as no mention of it on either one's social media. Nathan also stated that he was working on some songs for his first album about Ariana.[1]
Release
Nathan released "Over and Over Again" as a solo artist in October 2015 to serve as the second single for his upcoming debut album. In January 2016, it was announced that the song would be re-released with Ariana as a featured artist.[2]
