“ | Of course, of course you love yourself before you’re able to fully love someone else, of course. And, this isn’t really about that, it’s just kind of about, you know how everyone has the little things that you’re like ‘Eugh! How could you like that?’ And you see someone who you’re madly in love with, love that and you’re just kinda like, ‘I’m floored’…It’s like ‘Oof, I wanna feel that.’ | ” |

"POV" (stylized in all lowercase; an acronym for "point of view") is the fourteenth track and third and final single from Ariana Grande's sixth studio album, Positions. Grande confirmed "POV" as the fourteenth and final track of Positions on October 24, 2020, through her social media accounts. The song was released on October 30, 2020, through Republic Records. Background[]
This song is a sweet tribute to her lover for loving her for the person she is. The singer is learning to love herself the way that he loves her.[2] The songs instrumental begins with a relaxing melody, slowly building off with percussion, flourishes of strings.
The official cover art for "POV" leaked on June 17, 2023, assuming that it was going to be a single.
Ariana had shared a clip of POV studio sessions back on April 3, 2022, on her Instagram account, but it wasn’t the full sessions. On June 17, 2023, the behind the scenes studio footage was leaked in full the same day as the Sweetener visualizers. Eventually on October 29, 2023, Grande officially released the behind the scenes studio sessions onto her TikTok account, despite it being leaked.[3]

Music video[]
A music video was expected to be released, but it was later scrapped, most likely due to time constraints. The producers of the music video were Valerie Bush & Julio Mata Jr. The director was Stefan Kohil (he has worked with Ariana for a long time). The video was edited by Troy Charbonnet.
On January 18, 2022, actor George Todd M, who played in Euphoria and Shameless, posted a TikTok confirming the music video, showing the shooting schedule of the project. The video shoot took place in Miami, Florida in early 2021. On April 24, 2023, it was confirmed that the video was 3:25. The song has two scrapped music videos with a different scenery and plot for each one of the music videos.
Video 1 - A relaxing grassland scene with a big tree, while she’s walking around and singing. Grande is featured throughout the whole video (3:28).
Video 2 - Set in Miami, showcases different types of love (featuring two male lovers, a family, a hospital scene, some dogs), and Grande at the beginning and the end of the video (3:25).
When the videos were available for purchase, you could only buy one of the two versions, the other would then no longer be for sale. It was then decided on the version that features Ariana throughout the whole video for $3,000.
The first snippet of the music video 1 was leaked on May 15, 2023. The second snippet leaked on May 16, 2023. The full video leaked May 18, 2023.

Lyrics[]
[Verse 1]
It's like you got superpowers
Turn my minutes into hours
You got more than 20/20, babe
Made of glass the way you see through me
You know me better than I do
Can't seem to keep nothing from you
How you touch my soul from the outside
Permeate my ego and my pride
[Chorus]
I wanna love me (Ooh)
The way that you love me (Ooh)
Ooh, for all of my pretty
And all of my ugly too
I'd love to see me from your point of view
I wanna trust me (Trust me)
The way that you trust me (Trust me)
Ooh, 'cause nobody ever loved me like you do
I'd love to see me from your point of view
[Verse 2]
I'm gеttin' used to receiving
Still gеttin' good at not leaving
I'ma love you even though I'm scared (Oh, scared)
Learnin' to be grateful for myself (Oh, oh, oh)
You love my lips 'cause they say the
Things we've always been afraid of
I can feel it startin' to subside
Learnin' to believe in what is mine
[Chorus]
I wanna love me (Ooh)
The way that you love me (Ooh)
Ooh, for all of my pretty
And all of my ugly too
I'd love to see me from your point of view
I wanna trust me (Trust me)
The way that you trust me (Trust me)
Ooh, 'cause nobody ever loved me like you do
I'd love to see me from your point of view
[Bridge]
I couldn't believe it or see it for myself
Know I be impatient, but now I'm out here
Fallin', fallin', frozen, slowly
Fallin', got me right
I won't keep you waitin' (Waitin')
All my baggage waitin', safely (My baggage waiting)
And if my eyes deceive me
Won't let them stray too far away
[Chorus]
I wanna love me (Ooh)
The way that you love me (Ooh)
Ooh, for all of my pretty
And all of my ugly too
I'd love to see me from your point of view
I wanna trust me, ooh (Trust me)
The way that you trust me, baby (Trust me)
'Cause nobody ever loved me like you do
I'd love to see me from your point of view (Oh)
Yeah
