R.E.M. by Ariana Grande or simply R.E.M. is Ariana Grande's seventh fragrance, launched online on August 19, 2020.[1] It is named after Grande's 2018 song from her fourth album Sweetener.

Background

The fragrance follows Grande's Cloud and Thank U, Next launched in 2018 and 2019, respectively. R.E.M was first teased on July 28, 2020, via her Instagram story with name, bottle, and packaging to be revealed "soon".[2]

On August 5, 2020, Grande announced the fragrance via her Instagram stories. It is named after her song "R.E.M.", from her fourth album Sweetener (2018). The commercial for the fragrance and the fragrance's general design is inspired by her character in her "Break Free" music video: "in my dreams...
