"Remember" is a scrapped song by Ariana Grande intended for her fifth studio album Thank U, Next.^[1]

Background

The song was intended to be on Grande's fifth album Thank U, Next, but it was replaced by "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored".^[2]. According to Grande, she decided to replace it because she doesn't think she want to share with the world due to it being too personal.^[3] It's thought to be about Grande's ex Mac Miller who died on September 7, 2018 from an Accidental Drug Overdose.
