"Remember" (stylized in lettercase; reMeMber) is a scrapped song by Ariana Grande intended for her fifth studio album Thank U, Next.[1]
Background
The song was intended to be on Grande's fifth album Thank U, Next, but it was replaced by "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored".[2].Grande decided not to release it as she felt it was too personal.[3] It is thought to be about Grande's ex-boyfriend Mac Miller who died on September 7, 2018 from an accidental drug overdose.[4]
