"Suitcase" is a demo performed by Ariana Grande. It is speculated that this song was intended to be one of the tracks on her debut album, but was later scrapped from her album. Grande has never released the studio version.

It was purchased by Taiwan singer Elva Hsiao, the Chinese version of this song named "Diamond Candy" (鑽石糖), which was released on October 9, 2009.[source?]

Lyrics

[Verse 1]
I was there in the rain
Crying again
You said that you changed
But you're just the same

Now don't make it worse
By trying to lie
I saw you kiss her
With my own eyes

[Pre-Chorus]
Don't worry I'm not angry
I'm way past that already
These are the last tears you'll see
So don't you
Don't you worry about me

[Chorus]
I know what to do, boy
To get over you
I'm gonna send you away
But I'm not ready so
Just get out of my face
Stop standing in my way
I'm going out to stay
And when you're gone
I'm gonna get out my suitcase
Get out of this place
I'm going somewhere
I can let down my hair
I'm gonna have fun
Maybe meet someone
And when I get back
You know you better be gone
Boy, you know you better be gone
(You better be gone)

[Verse 2]
Boy, don't look so confused
Remember the truth
Now when I met you
We had nothing at all

I guess that you thought
What mine is yours
And maybe it was
But it's not anymore!!

[Pre-Chorus]
Don't worry I'm not angry
(Ohhh, ohh, ohhhhh)
I'm way past that already
(That already)
These are the last tears you'll see
(Last tears you'll see)
So don't you, don't you worry about me

[Chorus]
I know what to do, boy
To get over you
I'm gonna send you away
But I'm not ready so
Just get out of my face
Stop standing in my way
I'm going out to stay
And when you're gone
I'm gonna get out my suitcase
Get out of this place
I'm going somewhere
I can let down my hair
I'm gonna have fun
Maybe meet someone
And when I get back
You know you better be gone
Boy you know you better be gone!
(You better be gone)

[Bridge]
So we believed the one enough
And had to hurt and lie
So, please, don't make the same mistakes
The problem isn't mine!

'Cause I know what to do, boy
Ohhh, ohhh yeah
I gotta get over you, ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
No, no, no oh oh oh!
Oh yeah...

[Chorus]
I know what to do, boy
To get over you
I'm gonna send you away
But I'm not ready so
(But I'm not ready!!)
Just get out of my face
Stop standing in my way
(Stop standing in my way!)
I'm going out to stay
And when you're gone
I'm gonna get out my suitcase
(I'm gonna)
Get out of this place
I'm going somewhere
I can let down my hair
I'm gonna have fun
(Have fun)
Maybe meet someone
(Someone)
And when I get back
You know you better be gone

[Outro]
Boy you know you better be gone!
(You better be gone!)
And when I get back
You know you better be gone

You better be gone
You better be gone
You better be gone
