The Sweetener World Tour[1] will be Ariana Grande's fourth concert tour, in support of her fourth studio album, Sweetener, which was released on August 17, 2018, and her upcoming fifth studio album.[2] The tour is scheduled to begin on March 18, 2019 in Albany, New York, at the Times Union Centre.[1]
Background
Following the release of Grande's fourth studio album, Sweetener, Grande embarked to a promotional concert tour, The Sweetener Sessions, which concluded after 4 dates.[3]
On October 1, 2018, Grande started recording her upcoming fifth studio album. She confirmed that the tour will be for Sweetener and her upcoming album.[4]
The Sweetener World Tour dates for North America were announced on October 25, 2018.[1] Pre-sale for the tickets of the first leg of the tour is scheduled to take place between November 1 and November 3, 2018.[5]
