The song was released on March 28, 2025, through Republic Records. The song was later released as a radio single on April 8, 2025.[1][2]
Background[]
On March 17, 2025, the song was teased through the @brighterdays Instagram account. It showed the album's tracklist, revealing the name and its position.[3][4] On March 22, 2025, Team Ariana shared pictures of Grande behind the scenes of the Brighter Days Ahead short film, with the caption saying "did i dream the whole thing?". Later, on March 24, 2025, Grande teased more lyrics: "or was I just not me at all" on her Instagram stories. On March 25, 2025, Grande teased more lyrics and later posted the first snippet of the song through the Brighter Days Hotline.[5]
Upon the release on March 28, 2025, the song was promoted as a single on the Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead tracks.[6][7] On March 28, 2025, the song was officially released and was on Ariana's short film Brighter Days Ahead on Peaches third memory alongside "Supernatural."

- Twilight Zone is among Grande's favorite films, she even hosted a Halloween-themed event based on it in 2019[8]
