"Wish You Would" is an unreleased song by Justin Bieber featuring Ariana Grande. The song was intended for Bieber's fourth studio album Purpose, but was scrapped for unknown reasons.[2]
The song was then reworked and released on Bieber's sixth studio album Justice. The reworked version features rapper Quavo instead of Ariana.
Background[]
On May 2, 2014, Ariana confirmed with Ryan Seacrest that she and Justin recorded a duet together.[3] A picture was uploaded with Ariana and Justin together in a studio.[4] The demo of the song leaked where the feature was with an artist that goes by the name "Poo Bear."
The demo leaked on October 27, 2018, with Poo Bear, and the length being 4:23 minutes long.[5] It later went to Cody Simpson for Bieber and Simpson's duet album which was also scrapped.
On February 20, 2019, Soundz, a producer of the song, was on an Instagram live and mentioned how Ariana was on the song.[6] He also said he was trying to look for it.
