She confirmed this song on Snapchat on December 16, 2015.[1]. It was released through Republic Records on December 18, 2015.
In May 2022, an old clip Grande had shared of the song resurfaced, revealing it had an alternate early mix. The ALT demo leaked on December 25, 2023, alongside "Confused (Demo 5)", "Lakortle", "34+35 (Ariana New Solo Rap)" and "Safety Net (Demo)".
The full sessions was leaked on January 22, 2024.
