On "Worst Behavior", Ariana talks about having a relationship that is private and secretive. Ariana is singing about acting different than she usually does and shows a different side, while asking her lover to keep her company, and their relationship like this so that she can treat her partner well.
Grande confirmed "Worst Behavior" as the eighteenth track of Positions on February 11, 2021, during the countdown to premiere of the "34+35" remix music video.[1] On February 17, 2021, Grande posted a snippet of the song on Social Media.[2]
