"You" is an unreleased song recorded by Ariana Grande which was intended for her fourth studio album, Sweetener.

Background Edit

Grande confirmed the song in an interview with Zach Sang.[1] Grande also said that she may release the song at some point during the same interview with Zach. He asked her if it was still on the album or if it had been replaced. She said it was until the "No Tears Left To Cry" video shoot, where she decided she didn't want it and scribbled out the title on the track-list teaser. She said that the song included a drum sample from an 'iconic band' during the period of March 2018 but she also mentioned about a version without the sample but that didn't make the cut either.
